New Purchases + Contact Info!

Hi beauties! In my last post I mentioned that I have been trying out a bunch of new products so here they are :)
I have been wanting to try thins banana powder out in forever and I finally purchased it a couple weeks ago and I LOVEEEE ITTT!!!!! Seriously Ben Nye your the bomb dot com this powder does not cake up it is so gorgeous over your concealer and it just looks flawless! I only apply it anywhere where I have highlighted because it does have a yellow undertone like most of my highlighting concealers!

So I saw this product randomly when I went to Claires with my little sister and when I felt the bristles it was so incredibly soft I had to get it. I do not own a powder kabuki brush like this and it is so handy with loose face powders...which is what I use it for! I believe it is from Eco Tools because it was around those brushes! I am totally loving this brush!

I think I got this from Macy's a week or so ago for $20... incredible right! As you guys know I love love love gift sets with sample items so I can try out a bunch and see which ones I like and I don't really own any products from Smashbox so I wanted to give their "best sellers" a try! So far I have used everything but the face primer (which I think is for oily skin). I will have full reviews once I have used everything enough times to give you guys a thorough analysis.

My mother and I needed a new bigger blowout brush and I came across this one and have yet to try it so stay tuned! Its from Peter Coppola!

Colors are in order (starting from the bottom color swatch...it barely shows because it is so light) from the upper left to right colors on the palette and the last one is the bottom right peachy/pink shade. I did not include the white because it is a regular shimmery white!

I decided to purchase this mini Lorac Little Lace "Smolder" palette because it is so tiny and so cute! It is so perfect to throw in your makeup bag and is the perfect travel size! The colors unfortunately do not have names. I came across this in the checkout line at Nordstrom Rack for like $12 and a friend of mine mentioned to me on Instagram that they were originally a HauteLook (http://www.hautelook.com/events#all) exclusive which is true but I guess they have them at the store as well...which is even better! I have used it once or twice now and really like it! I keep it in my purse at all times!
I think you get the best application with a flat shader brush or your fingertips!
The colors blend beautifully and the pigments are great!

This set comes with a little story lol. Ok so if you follow my blog and are up to date with my posts you know that I love the liquid eye liner that comes in this set and I also have and use the shimmery "Kitten" color also included in the set. Now, I came across this BEAUTIFUL red liquid lipstick a week ago at Sephora and fell in love with it the second I swatched it! I love red lipstick but don't wear it often because when you eat or drink it wears off fast and you constantly need to reapply.
Have no worries ladies because this lipstick solves that problem! It is an all day lip stain that stays on whether u are eating, drinking, kissing, underwater, you name it! It literally stays put all day! The only problem: IT'S SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!! I'm not kidding I have looked everywhere and could not find it! I wanted it so bad I purchased this whole set just to get my hands on it lol. I swear I'm not crazy because the color and quality are so amazing... it is my best lipstick purchase by far!

As you can see from the pictures it goes on creamy and dries matte. Once you apply it make sure to apply a thin layer so it dries faster and do not forget your lipliner!
The best part is Stila makes more colors!
Oh and I'm really glad I got this set because I usually carry the bigger version of the liquid eye liner and now I have a mini version which is awesome!

I was at my local Walgreens when I saw the product and remembered I had been wanting to purchase it so I did and I like it so far! Once you peel it off your skin feels smooth and glows! Just avoid applying on your eyebrow hairs or too close to your hairline because it will stick and hurt when you try to take it off lol! I know that Freeman also has an avocado & oatmeal mask which I will go back and purchase because I have heard great stuff about that too!

The last thing I got was this Bubblegum Lip Scrub from Lush which I needed because I always have dead skin on my lips and it shows over my lipstick EWW! I use this constantly when I want smooth lips. All you have to do is rub it into your lips however I don't like the feeling of the sugars on my fingers so I scrub it with a toothbrush!
The one thing I don't like is the smell, it smells exactly like bubblegum and for some reason its unappealing to me! Otherwise this is a great product to have!
And just a FYI you can make body & lip scrubs easily at home all you need is sugar and oil (just google it if your interested there are so many options online).

Garnier BB Cream

Helloooo beauties, I know I have been MIA for a while but thats because I have bought a bunch of new products and have slowly been trying them all out! One of my new purchases was this Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream!
So, I have never owned a BB cream and I never really payed any attention to it mainly because I do not wear makeup on a daily basis and when I do I must have foundation on because my face gets really red (esp if its hot or sunny outside) and there is not point in doing gorgeous eye makeup when you do not have a flawless face duh lol! As you all know foundation is a lot heavier on the face and has more full coverage (depending on the foundation of course) whereas a BB cream is a lot lighter and depending on the BB cream brand has different types of coverage (light, medium or full). Most BB creams also have SPF whereas foundations do not, this is what sold me in the first place! Just to give you an overall jist BB creams are a moisturizer, primer, skin treatment, concealer, foundation, and sun protectant all in 1...but with a lighter formula!

As most of my readers know I have dry skin and with dry skin you have to do some research on a face product to see if it will work for you...so thats exactly what I did! I looked online at BB creams that are great for dry skin and I consistently kept seeing this Garnier brand! I never even knew Garnier had skin products! Either way I went with it and decided to look on YouTube to see what my fellow gals had to say and almost all of the reviews were positive! So i went out and bought it!

The main problem with this product is that they only have 2 shades: Light/Medium & Medium/Deep
The good thing is they have different ones for different skin types...next to this product they have the same one but with oil control and I think they even had an anti-ageing one too!
As you can see the product is 1-2 shades darker than my natural skin tone
And please note that a little goes a longgggggg way...the amount on my hand is way way way too much for your face about half this amount will do...even less if you want sheer coverage!
It is very creamy which is crucial for people with dry skin!
I blended a little bit onto my thumb and as you can see it is sheer...you can definitely build the product up to medium coverage!
This is when I have blended it all out...you can barely see the blue-ness of vain on my hand so it definitely covers any discoloration (such as redness on the face)!

I apply this product with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush so I can buff it into my skin for a flawless finish!

Your probably wondering why my Dior Nude foundation is in this picture lol well thats because since this color is dark for my skin I like to mix it with this much lighter foundation to get the perfect color!
If I do not mix the product I will have to apply the BB cream all the way down my neck which I hate doing!!! I don't do that with foundation either because all my foundations are my exact skin tone and blend beautifully into my skin!

Overall Review:
I really like this product for everyday the 2 things I love is that it has SPF and it moisturizes! I have applied this without moisturizer on my skin and I still get a flawless finish because it is so creamy! The one con has to be that it comes in only 2 shades! Otherwise I have been wearing this ever since I bought it and I have no complaints!
When I was doing research on BB creams for dry skin I also came across a Dior one which I was going to get originally but I wanted to start off with a more basic brand...so once I finish this BB cream that will be my next purchase!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post...if you have any questions please comment below! :)

YouTube Beauty Guru's

Hey ya'll I wanted to do a post dedicated to the ladies that contributed to my makeup skills! So like most of my readers (and most girls in general) makeup is not a big deal and they are ok with the bare minimum thing. I'm not going to lie I was just like you then all of a sudden it became this obsession that made me so happy. I know for a fact I am not the only girl who feels amazing when they are all dolled up. For some reason if I am every down, unhappy, unmotivated, or having a bad day all I need to do is my makeup & hair, wear a bomb outfit and I fell #Fabulous (CAPITAL F!!!!!) Makeup to me is like a mask and I get into a "zone" and just feel great! Kinda sounds weird when I try explaining it but oh well!
SOOO when I first became super interested in improving my skills I turned to the internet...duh lol! I still remember watching  Carli Bybel's video on a smokey eye and being so intrigued! I then began searching and watching more and more ladies with more techniques, tricks, and amazing products! I was hooked!!! In between classes, before bed, early in the morning, in the car YOU NAME IT  I would always be on my Ipad watching YouTube tutorials! These ladies really helped me improve and perfect my makeup so it looked smooth & flawless. The one thing I learned from all of them is the most important thing every girl needs to know about makeup and thats the art of blending! I swear I didn't even know what blending was!!! Now I wouldn't be caught dead with a unblended smokey eye let alone any eye shadow look!
BTW now that I am pretty good at doing makeup I still watch these beauty guru's religiously because there are so many new techniques and tricks that they provide along with helpful makeup looks...not to mention product reviews. I also love all of their personalities! That being said lets get started!

Tiffany has more product reviews than tutorials nevertheless she is extremely helpful!

I love Michelle's inspirational videos...she is amazing!

Her makeup is to die for!!!!!!!

Most of you may know Jessie James from her new E! show "Eric & Jessie" and she is an amazing country singer but she also has this channel where she has posted I think 3 videos and she does not post very often but I just love her and her personality! I also like her videos b/c they are lengthy and detailed!

I hope you guys find these ladies as useful as I did & do!
Enjoy beauties!
