for the love of makeup: August 2015

Hi Beauties,

I wanted to update you guys on my new business venture :)

My partner and I have started a company called "Makeup Tonight" where we have artists host makeup classes at posh restaurants all over Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco (we will be expanding to many other cities soon). All the classes are separated into themes such as "Irresistible Smokey Eye," "Contouring & Highlighting," "No Makeup-Makeup," and much more. The classes are hands on which is crucial to learning makeup because you retain information faster and better this way. Yes, it's easy to watch a YouTube video on a certain look you want to achieve but when you try to mimic the same look on yourself, or others, I guarantee you will struggle with it, especially if you are a beginner. When you have a professional teaching you and correcting your mistakes you learn a lot faster and make less mistakes versus watching a tutorial.

I am currently the head artist in LA and we have classes weekly in every location. I have other very talented artists teaching in NY and SF.

We post promo flyers on our Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter daily of any upcoming classes in all the locations and we also have all the classes listed on our website (all links below).

The classes are $59. YES, ONLY FIFTY-NINE DOLLARS!

You are required to bring some products with you and we gift you some products to use during the class and take home. Oh, and you also get a Swag Bag aka a gift bag filled with amazing goodies. For example for our "Contouring & Highlighting" class you bring:

Concealer (1-2 shades lighter than your skin tone)
Blush - Your Favorite Shade
Powder - Pressed or Loose
Beauty Blender

All classes are weekdays (Monday - Thursday) from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM at restaurants around your city.

In LA we host classes at the Sofitel Hotel, Aventine Hollywood, Pop Champagne, etc...

In SF we host classes at The Vestry, Monroe, etc...

In NY we host classes at The Chester, Ainsworth Park, etc...

The concept behind our classes is to come with your girlfriends (or alone) enjoy a nice cocktail and learn the theme of the night. The environment is very fun yet very informative :)
